Welcome
Marketing Cheshire presents a major
new conference: Travel, Leisure and Tourism North 2012. This
full-day conference will take place on Thursday 24 May at
Chester Racecourse and will explore key issues, trends and
opportunities for the visitor economy of the North of England.
The conference will be split into two distinct but related half
day sessions; speakers in the morning session will deliver
research and economic data based around the value and size of
the visitor economy in the North. Speakers will look at topics
such as private sector investment, areas of growth and decline
and factors affecting the economy such as the built environment
and the Government; funding and regulations affecting building
and expansion.
In the afternoon, the focus will shift towards marketing and
other intangibles related to the marketing, development and
delivery of visitor attractions: from the changing face of
public interest in leisure attractions to the changing nature
of marketing to these disparate audiences and how the use of
technology can help enhance output and sales.
This event is for senior industry professionals, owners and
operators of hotels, restaurants, venues and attractions and
public sector bodies across the region.
Early bird tickets for the conference are £79 + VAT. After 7 May, the
cost will be £99 + VAT for Marketing Cheshire members and £119 + VAT for
non-members.
We very much look forward to welcoming you to Chester Racecourse
for this exciting new conference.
